Summary: GoldieBlox is hiring a Social Media Manager to publish and grow all social channels across our mission-based brand. As a digital entertainment company serving girls 6-12, the primary focus will be social media strategy and day-to-day management of our marketing content calendar, campaigns, and social promotions. As a key member of the Marketing team at GoldieBlox, you will wear many different hats as we build and grow our business. Every day will be different, but your experience, instinct, and passion for the mission will be instrumental in driving our success.


  • Design and execute creative assets across social platforms
  • Work with Marketing Writer to craft copy, postings, and editorial calendars for brand
  • Acquire, gather, and manage the logistics of all assets needed for social media campaigns
  • Act as a hub between stakeholders to run all social campaigns both internally and for brand clients
  • Monitor campaign performance using social media tools and/or platform
  • Deliver activation plans, editorial calendars, and supporting content for client-ready presentations and must be comfortable presenting to client for approval
  • Source new talent across all verticals from micro-influencers, musicians, comedians, scientists. Must feel at ease cold-calling or emailing
  • Covers GoldieBlox shoots, live action productions or tentpole events, collecting content for digital use, or creating and publishing content to live on platforms such as Instagram stories, Snapchat, Facebook Live or Tik Tok
  • Build and maintain consistent branding, messaging, and voice across platforms
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to achieve growth and engagement across platforms


  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing with an emphasis on social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and branded campaigns
  • Passion for piquing girls’ interest in STEM fields
  • Must have the ability to create assets using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Strong eye for graphic design
  • Prior experience creating and executing short and long-term activations
  • Strong ability to continuously manage multiple high-priority tasks
  • Strong ability to track and interpret social platform analytics: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest
  • In-depth understanding of all things internet: latest trends, influencers, social platform features
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with drive, agility, and a figure-it-out attitude
  • Energetic and willing to thrive in a start-up atmosphere
  • Excellent communication skills
